The team visits an open-cast mine to view excavation work and talk to miners about the old dangerous and inefficient method of underground coal mining. Part of a local lake is also being drained to exposure a thick seam of coal on the lake bed. 06.35 Wellington's Eagle Club: Young Wellington women who are the wives and fiances of American servicemen have formed their own club. The women learn about the United States from guest speakers who discuss the nation's history, people and culture. Club members learn about American sports such as baseball by playing the game.
