Weekly Review No 77 (1942) Marines Ball Game: 25,000 Wellingtonians pack into Athletic Park to see US Marine Corp 'Leathernecks' play a game of baseball. 01.55 Present from New York: Prime Minister Peter Fraser receives an ambulance sent from New York in memory of a Dunedin flying officer killed in action. The ambulance has been donated to the RNZAF. 02.35 Tanks from Britain: New Zealand is a base for war supplies in the South Pacific. At Port Nicholson, tanks are unloaded to reinforce NZ armoured units. These tanks have been outmoded overseas by new models with bigger guns but they are still valuable for the NZ army. Duration 03.42
