Pictorial Parade No 204
Pictorial Parade No 204 (1968) An informal, relaxed look at the Hamilton County Bluegrass Band members at work and play. The band members all held down fulltime jobs but after-hours they played folk and bluegrass music regularly at the Poles Apart Folk Club in Khyber Pass Road, and at folk festivals like the National Banjo-Pickers Conventions. This brought them to the attention of TV producer Bryan Easte, who was looking for a band to play in his show , "The Country Touch". The band became a New Zealand favourite in the mid 70s and later found some success in Australia and the US.
